Jeb: People concerned about border security are racist dogs

Jeb Bush has said that Donald Trump's appeals to combat illegal immigration are akin to someone using a "dog whistle".

...the former Florida governor drilled the early frontrunner in Republican 2016 polling over his criticism of Bush for speaking Spanish during interviews and for using language, he alleged, that serves as a "dog whistle" to racists.

This isn't just an attack on Donald Trump; this is an attack on millions of Americans who are very concerned about illegal immigration. If you criticize illegal immigration, you're a racist. You're lower than a dog.

Jeb Bush is finally waking up and showing some passion. But unfortunately, the passion he is releasing is against American citizens. To belittle people concerned about border security and illegal immigration as racists is something straight out of the Democratic Party playbook. To compare them to dogs responding to a whistle is insulting and obscene. He has made it very clear that he doesn't represent the interests of Americans.

It's no wonder Bush has dropped down to single digits in the polls. For all his pretentions of being the "serious" candidate, he's become a nasty, offensive, almost cartoon like character. Donald Trump can be offensive to individuals, but he doesn't go out of his way to insult millions of Americans concerned about an important issue.

You know, other Republicans, including George W. Bush, supported amnesty for illegals. But Jeb is a fanatic and I think this latest comment will sink what little chances he has. Mark my words: he can lash out with his $120 million and do damage to other candidates, but he will not attract the supporters of whoever he damages in the polls. He will only shift votes around between the other candidates.

Jeb's only future that I can see at this point is to do the weather forecasts on Telemundo in his halting Spanish.

Greed of illegal alien parents doomed drowned Syrian children

By now most people have seen the horrifying photos of the child of a Syrian refugee who drowned on a voyage to Greece. It's truly awful to see a dead child lying face down on the beach. At the same time, it is important to consider the root causes of this tragedy and other deaths just like this.

Sarah Palin was ridiculed for claiming foreign policy experience and saying "I can even see Russia from my window!" (which in fact she never said--Tina Fey said it while impersonating her). Well, now Jeb Bush has his own "I can see Mexico from my window moment" because in an interview he asserts that he was "border state" governor.

Trump asks Jeb to "press one" for English

When I wrote yesterday how Jeb calling himself a conservative while campaigning in Spanish was rather odd, evidently I wasn't the only one having that thought. Now Donald Trump has come out and challenged Bush to campaign in English while campaigning for the presidency of America, which, you know, is an English speaking country.

Will Jeb Bush sign a loyalty pledge to actively support the GOP nominee?

Since attention is being focused on whether Donald Trump will sign a loyalty pledge, what about Jeb Bush? Bush would never run a third party candidacy, but like many establishment Republicans, he might pay lip service to endorsing the nominee and then disappear from the scene. Or worse, he might furtively encourage his supporters to give money to Hillary.
Sounds far fetched? That's exactly what happened in Virginia when Ken Cuccinelli was nominated for governor by Republicans after beating a RINO for the nomination; in retaliation, establishment Republicans sat on their hands and even gave money and support to the Democratic nominee, Terry McAuliffe, who is now the governor of Virginia.

Every so often you will see articles warning that some species is going extinct. We are assured they are going extinct because fewer have been seen recently.

Why Jeb Bush criticizing Donald Trump in Spanish is Creepy

What if Ted Cruz did some campaigning in Spanish, to select audiences in Texas or Florida? Would any one have a problem with that? I don't think so, because I think we know that Ted has a history of pushing strongly for a border fence and denying amnesty to illegal aliens. While we might prefer he campaign exclusively in English, as it is our national language and all citizens here should be fluent in it, I don't think most people would have a major problem with it.
