Obama, promoting Islamophilia, acts like a registered sect offender

President Obama went to a radical mosque today and delivered a lecture to Americans about how mean they are to Muslims, without saying a word about the Muslim responsibility to fight radicalism in its own ranks. While Obama lectures us on Islamophobia from a mosque with terrorist ties, it is really not "Islamophobia" he is lecturing against but "Islamophilia" he is advocating for, a willing blindness to the failures of Islam to combat radicalism in its ranks. By doing so he offends Jews and Christians who have legitimate concerns about radical Islam, portraying them as bigots.

The mosque Obama went to has ties to the terrorist Islamic Brotherhood, even being run at one time by an Iman who praised suicide bombers. Obama didn't say a word about that.

Meanwhile, Americans are tremendously tolerant of Muslims. Only 14% of hate crimes in America are committed against Muslims, while 59% are committed against Jews (Obama didn't speak to that either). Muslims are not being killed in America for being Muslim. But Obama is portraying America as bigots for wanting to secure the border and stop unvetted Muslim refugees.

In his Wednesday address, Obama also mocked opponents who have criticized his reluctance to use terms like "radical Islamic terrorism" to describe groups like ISIL and Al Qaeda.

“If I would simply say these are all Islamic terrorists then we would actually have solved the problem now apparently,” Obama said, adding, "The best way for us to fight terrorism is to deny these organizations legitimacy and show that in the United States of America we do not suppress Islam.”

No, the best way to fight terrorism is to put pressure on the Islamic community to renounce it, not to visit a mosque with ties to it. But Obama went on:

Citing Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin, Mr. Obama said Muslims had been an integral part of the United States since its founding. “So this is not a new thing,” he said. “Generations of Muslim Americans helped to build our nation.”

Were Jefferson, Adams, and Franklin Muslims? I always suspected! I suspect future school history texts will show that George Washington secretly practiced Sharia Law.

But he said that too many Americans only heard about Islam after terrorist attacks, and that this must change. “Our television shows should have some Muslim characters that are unrelated to national security,” he said.

Is he kidding? Every Muslim in television is supremely virtuous. I'll never forget even on the hit TV show 24, whenever a Muslim was shown to commit a terrorist act, you would always find out in the next episode that a white Christian was the real mastermind behind it.

Mr. Obama said that anyone who suggested that the United States was at war with Islam not only legitimized such groups as the Islamic State but also played into their hands. “That kind of mind-set helps our enemies,” he said. “It helps our enemies recruit. It makes us all less safe.”

No, it is by giving muslim governments and mosques free passes to tolerate or even promote hate, that helps our enemies recruit and make us less safe. The very mosque that Obama spoke in knows there are no consequences for having ties to terrorists.

The media is very free with the word "Islamophobia" but I would like to see them start talking about Islamophiles. With Obama's obvious bias against Jews and Christians, dating back to the crusades, his repeated offensive comments make him sound very much like a serial sect offender.

Do Sarah Palin's endorsements influence you?

Sarah Palin endorsed Donald Trump. They seem to have a lot in common. They both find Twitter perfect for their purposes, given the 140 character message length. They both often fail to write or speak in complete sentences. While offering a vaguely conservative message from a distance, when you listen closely to either you find little of substance.

Trump, whining about Iowa schlonging, again raises temperment questions

One of the things that has troubled me the most about Donald Trump is his lack of emotional maturity. Unlike a reality TV show host, it is vital that the President of the United States be very grown up and mature. But Trump, time and time again, acts like a child, name calling, holding grudges, and crying when things don't go his way.
