NASA spending millions to repeat Mars rover mission

How many times are we going to send Rovers to Mars? I only ask because NASA keeps spending hundreds of millions of dollars to send more and more of them there. Can anyone tell me what great discoveries were made by previous rovers?

I was curious, so I did some googling and found out:
1) Organic carbon found in rocks

2) Sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen found in rocks

3) Methane found in Mars atmosphere

4) Mars is radioactive

5) Mars used to have water.

How important was it to know these things? Was it worth billions of dollars to find these things out? Are we better off now that we know these things?
And yet, rather than asking these questions, we prepare to spend nearly $700 million dollars to send yet another rover to Mars. Haven't we spent enough money finding out about the dirt on Mars? If we're going to spend money on environmental sciences, why not study an environment a little more germane to human needs--like our own planet?

Astronomy types act like they're being raped if you question spending taxpayer dollars on their pet projects. If you don't want to know the answers to the questions that they want answered, you're anti-science. I'm not anti-science. If they want to seek these answers they can. They just shouldn't do it with taxpayer money.

Marco Rubio may not last until the Florida primary

Results coming in showing that Marco Rubio not only lost in Michigan and Mississippi, but lost in a big and extremely embarrassing way. He didn't even break the 15% threshold to collect any delegates in these two states. At this time of writing, Marco Rubio got about 9% of the vote in Michigan and 5% in Mississippi. He came in fourth place in a four candidate race.
