The times Hillary uses Rodham and the times she doesn't

The Atlantic had an article tracking the times Hillary uses the name Rodham and the times she doesn't. She started out being Hillary Rodham Clinton, but changed it for the first time when Bill lost his reelection bid in Arkansas

Bill Clinton lost reelection in 1980, but decided to run to reclaim his seat two years later. That’s when Hillary Rodham decided it was time to take on Bill’s name, to assist the effort.

She reclaimed the Rodham when she ran for the Senate in liberal New York

Something interesting happened in 2000, when she decided to run for Senate in New York. The name that appeared on the ballot when she won the race was “Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

But when she ran for president, Rodham disappeared again.

By the time Hillary Clinton ran for president in 2008, she had almost entirely dropped “Rodham;” she appeared on primary ballots as “Hillary Clinton.” As in 2000, her signs read “Hillary”; her website lived at hillaryclinton.com. In discussions of the race in the media (including here) she is referred to simply as “Hillary Clinton,” “Hillary,” or “Clinton.” The super PAC supporting her was “Ready for Hillary.”

The media cooperates, calling her whatever she wishes, magically disappearing and rediscovering the name whenever she wishes without any mention of inconsistency. Although she is not running as Hillary Rodham Clinton, you can bet if she's elected president that the Rodham name will reappear the instant she wins.

1001 reasons why the border can't be secured, according to liberals

The New York Times had a fascinating article listing 1001 reasons why the border can't be secured and illegals can't be deported. For a newspaper which believes that the government is capable of being involved in all aspects of our life--our healthcare, our businesses, even our bathrooms, the NYT believes the government is incapable only when it comes to illegal immigration.
