Guantanamo inmate claims he was forced to wear women's underwear and bark like a dog

The New York Times published a propaganda piece today describing the torment the terrorists in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have allegedly suffered.

One man claimed he was forced to wear women's underwear and bark like a dog:

Dr. Burney said he and Dr. Leso took turns observing the questioning in 2002 of Mohammed al-Qahtani, who was accused of being an intended hijacker in the Sept. 11 attacks and, it later emerged, had a history of psychosis. Among other things, he was menaced with military dogs, draped in women’s underwear, injected with intravenous fluids to make him urinate on himself, put on a leash and forced to bark like a dog, and interrogated for 18 to 20 hours at least 48 times, government investigators found.

Good!

In June of that year, Maj. Paul Burney, an Army psychiatrist, and Maj. John Leso, an Army psychologist, both of whom had deployed to Guantánamo to tend to the troops, instead were assigned to devise interrogation techniques. In a memo, they listed escalating pressure tactics, including extended isolation, 20-hour interrogations, painful stress positions, yelling, hooding, and manipulation of diet, environment and sleep.

But they also expressed caution. “Physical and/or emotional harm from the above techniques may emerge months or even years after their use,” the two men warned in their memo, later excerpted in a Senate Armed Services Committee report.

Good! I hope they did all of those things to those terrorists. Remember these are not soldiers protected by the Geneva Convention. These are terrorists who observe no rules of war at all and purposefully target civilians for execution.

Dr. Rosecrans had little reason to suspect abusive treatment, she said, because some prisoners seemed eager to go to interrogation sessions, which they called “reservations.” Interrogators, working in trailers separate from the structures where detainees were housed, doled out rewards like snack food or magazines; speaking with them broke the boredom for detainees.

Oh, it sounds like pure torture.

The Times hints throughout the article that some of these terrorists were innocent. Impossible to know. We do know they were caught on the battlefield with weapons aimed at us, they burn prisoners alive or chop off their heads, and that they don't observe any rules of war. Why should we?

Trump "very much" likes parts of Obamacare and plans to keep them intact

Donald Trump, who promised repeatedly during his campaign to repeal Obamacare, has some new thinking on the subject. He is now considering keeping parts of the law intact. Why? Because Obama asked him to.

What do you think Obama said in his first meeting with Trump?

I was struck how Donald Trump, in his first ever meeting with President Obama, remarked how he was supposed to have met with Obama for only 15 minutes but actually met with him for an hour and a half. What, I wonder, did they talk about? We'll never know for sure, but here's what I think Obama said to Trump:

A must-read: Muslim Trump voter unloads on Democrats and radical Islam

For a long time I've been critical of the Muslim community, much of whom seems to revel in victimhood status even when it's clear that they are not the victims of anything. Meanwhile a substantial number of their coreligionists are slaughtering people by the thousands, including, from time to time, Americans, and they don't seem to have any public opinions about that.

Hijabis furious over TSA patdowns

Under Sharia Law, unrelated men are not allowed to touch veiled women (unless they are sex slaves being raped, or women being beaten for walking outside the home, or women having their clitorises cut off). You can therefore understand why Sharia-compliant hijabis are outraged at being pat down by the TSA when they go to board planes.

What you may not know is that Rudy has an extensive history of dressing as a woman: here is a list of highlights of his public appearances as such:

The striking thing about the series of American Muslim viewpoint articles published yesterday is that we see them complaining vociferously about the election of Donald Trump, while at the same time being completely silent about the dangers of radical Islam. It causes me to think that too many American Muslims have a bigger problem with Donald Trump than they do with radicalized Islam.

Chelsea Manning, a man who (a) used to be called Bradley Manning (b) was sentenced to 35 years in jail for revealing military secrets, and (c) decided to while away the time in prison by growing lady breasts at taxpayer expense, has filed a complaint with the government alleging that intelligence agents speaking Arabic tried to break him out of prison.
