Florida Senate race features two candidates who support amnesty, Obamacare, gun control

It's always good to have a choice. Florida voters will have one, in the form of Governor Rick Scott, who is running for the Senate against Democrat Bill Nelson. Both support Obamacare, gun control, and amnesty for illegal aliens.

In the past year, as he has prepared for the Senate race, Mr. Scott has broken with the president several times. He pressed the White House to let 32,500 Haitians, living in Florida under temporary protected status, remain in the country. He opposed the end of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that has protected many immigrants brought into the country illegally as children from deportation. He pushed against allowing oil drilling off Florida’s shores.

Most important, perhaps, Mr. Scott signed off on new restrictions on firearm purchases after the Parkland shooting in defiance of the National Rifle Association, neutralizing some of the opposition he would have otherwise faced from vocal students and their families.

Also, Governor Scott signed off on expanding Obamacare in his state, which will cost his constituents billions of dollars down the road.

So voters in Florida have some choice! Which would you prefer, the Democrat who likes Obamacare, gun control, and illegal aliens, or the Republican who likes Obamacare, gun control, and illegal aliens?

It's hard to choose!

Trump deploying token border force to fool conservative supporters

When President Trump said he was deploying the military to our southern border, I thought, "Finally!" Congress has blocked Trump's attempts to build a border wall or hire more border guards, but President Trump has found a unilateral action he can take to finally secure the border!

Widespread sex addiction is worsening depression among gay men

Vox, of all places, has exposed the deep psychological problems that gay men are having from all too frequent casual sex. The article, written by a homosexual psychiatrist, claims that the "overuse" of the casual gay sex app "Grindr" is making gay men depressed, and that up to 50% of gay men suffer from clinical depression.

Surge of illegal border crossings corresponds with Trump's mass amnesty offer

There has been a surge of illegal aliens crossing our southern border. A caravan of over 1000 illegals from Central America are trying to enter the country on Easter alone. Breitbart, perhaps one of the strongest supporters of President Trump in the media, finds a direct correlation between the time Trump offered amnesty to 1.8 million illegal aliens and the increasing surge across the border.

Trump's surrender to Dems could cause impeachment, primary challenge

President Trump's decision to sign the spending bill which funds nearly all the Democrat's priorities but gives nothing for border security or reducing domestic spending has disheartened many of his supporters. Even his base on sites like Breitbart are turning against the President, in view of many of the critical comments there. Some people like Ann Coulter think that Trump is depressing his own base, which could reduce GOP turnout in the 2018 Congressional elections and hand the House of Representatives to the Democrats.

Feminist Prof. says husband's repeated requests for sex were violations

When I was younger I wondered why candidates running for office would pay to put up signs featuring the candidate's name. Johns Hopkins proudly employs convicted killers

The PBS NewsHour (at the 9 minute mark) last night had an inspiring story about a black church which helped ex-cons get jobs. The program focused on a very sympathetic obese black lady named Cally Thomas. She's soft-spoken, she dresses well, and she even dyed her hair blonde like Beyonce. We're still somewhat sympathetic even after we learned that Cally Thomas is a convicted killer because, as NewsHour assures us, the murder was "domestic violence related", so maybe she won't kill anyone else except boyfriends. But then we learn where Cally has a job; as a janitor at John Hopkins Hospital.
