Do lesbians have a constitutional right to wear a tuxedo on prom night?

Foxnews is reporting a dressing dispute in a Louisiana high school:

A gay Louisiana high school student says she is going to skip her prom because the school’s principal will not let her wear a tuxedo.

Principal Patrick Taylor told the paper that the decision is part of the school’s dress code and it is not anything personal.

Monroe City School Board President Rodney McFarland disagreed.

"Banning her from her prom just because of what she wants to wear — that's discrimination," he said. "As far as I know there is no Monroe City School Board policy saying what someone has to wear to attend the prom. You can't just go making up policies."

And the armies of moral relativism keep marching on. The Left doesn't believe in a dress code or any traditions or customs. If a small group of people insisted on wearing nothing but fruit on their bodies and demanded jobs dressed as they were, the Left would scream about Fruits being discriminated against.

But there's also a deeper lesson here. Why would a lesbian insist on wearing a tuxedo? To be a lesbian doesn't deny that you're a woman; it just means you're supposedly attracted to other women. So why would a lesbian want to dress like a man?

The answer to this question explains so-called "transgenderism". When a person decides to be gay, they want to attract people of the same sex. But most people aren't attracted of those of the same sex, so in order to try and get around that, some gays and lesbians try to dress like the opposite gender. That may be where "transgenderism" comes from.

The lesbian lady is probably attracted to some other girls who are heterosexual. She probably thinks she can be more attractive to them if she cuts her hair short, like a man, and dresses like a man.

America is a free country, and the lesbian high school student can dress as she likes. But by dressing as she likes she can't expect to be included in certain activities. Many places have dress codes, such as country clubs, restaurants, theaters, and yes, proms. You can say the dress code is subjective, but it is what it is, and there is no constitutional right (yet) to be admitted everywhere dressed however you want.

But I think this lesbian student let the cat out of the bag when it comes to explaining so-called gender changes.

Kansas attacked for stunning success in reducing welfare dependency

Progress on the war on poverty is always measured by how much the government is spending. The more, the better, say liberals. But a more sensible way to think about it is that the fewer people on welfare, the more people who are supporting themselves and not living off the hard working taxpayer. From that realistic perspective Kansas governor Sam Brownback has had a tremendous success, greatly reducing enrollment in the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families program:

Have you ever wondered why no men are Girl Scout leaders? And why no women are Boy Scout leaders? I think the answer is obvious: most men are attracted to women, and vice versa. Having a man lead a bunch of teenage girls or a woman lead a bunch of teenage boys is a recipe for disaster.

How Mike Pence's surrender will affect people of conscience in Indiana

Can you imagine if a state legislature voted on a bill today which declared "The legislature shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". They would call it bigoted, anti-homosexual rights bill that would prevent the government from passing laws to protect "discrimination" against gays, bisexuals, and transsexuals. (How do you discriminate against a bisexual--how do you even know if a person is bisexual? And exactly when being bisexual or being a man demanding to be accepted as a woman become a civil rights issue?)
