Scott Walker can't comment on Syria crisis because "he isn't president yet"|
On several issues, he has attempted to not take a side — including when asked this week what he would do to directly address the crisis facing Europe as hundreds of thousands of refugees from Syria and other war-torn countries search for a safe place to live. Walker said the United States must fight the Islamic State, which he says is at the root of the crisis, but he wouldn’t take a stance beyond that.
“I’m not president today, and I can’t be president today,” Walker said in Rochester on Monday. “Everybody wants to talk about hypotheticals; there is no such thing as a hypothetical.”
Hypothetical? There is a real movement of hundreds of thousands of these refugees. There is nothing hypothetical about that. Is it really so difficult to talk about the dangers of Islamization of Europe due to the massive transfers of population? Do you have to be president to talk of the dangers of increased terrorism from some who come from an intolerant culture? Walker dodges even the easy questions.
However, he looked really good doing his Tom Cruise Top Gun impression riding around New Hampshire on a motorcycle. A pity Jodi Ernst was not there to play the Kelly McGillis part again!
So what is Scott Walker willing to talk about?
He talked about former front-runners who never became president. He compared competing in the presidential race to running a half-mile track event in high school, sticking with the pack until the finish line is close. He also likened his strategy to skeet shooting, aiming the gun at the spot in the sky where the clay pigeon is headed, not where it already is.
Scott Walker is too busy writing poetry describing metaphorical ways in which he's behind in the race to talk about the real issues. I'm surprised he didn't tell the one about the tortoise and the hare! Let me close with a little more Walker-ism:
“I think what’s hurting anybody in the polls is that the media wants to talk about issues that the public doesn’t care about — or, I shouldn’t say doesn’t care about. The media wants to talk about issues that aren’t at the top of the list of what people want to talk about,” Walker said. “At the last debate, nobody asked those sorts of questions. You guys don’t ask those sorts of questions. But those are the questions people ask us.”
"The media want to talk about the issues the public doesn't care about--or I shouldn't say doesn't care about". And this is the new Walker. Then he talks about the issues people do want to talk about.... without ever mentioning what those issues are!
With Rick Perry out of the top ten, I fully expect Scott Walker to take his place and perform a strong comedic role in the next debate.

Why is Scott Walker's campaign floundering?
Has Scott Walker destroyed himself with three positions on birthright in one week?
A transcript of Christine Blasey Ford's FBI interview
What follows is a transcript of the FBI's interview with Christine Blasey Ford, given to me by a member of Senator Dianne Feinstein's office, who also assured me that the Senator's office was not involved in any way in the leak of the transcript.
Christine Blasey Ford and the mysterious case of the missing bathroom
There was a subtle fact to be learned from Christine Blasey Ford's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday. No, not merely that she lied about being afraid to fly on airplanes so she could delay the hearing as long as possible.
Christine Blasey Ford is now the leader of #MeTooFragile
Introducing the #MeTooFragile movement. It's an offshoot of the #MeToo movement, where women described what they claimed were sexual assaults in the workplace by the likes of Matt Lauer, Harvey Weinstein, Charlie Rose, Les Moonves and many others.
Trump has not violated campaign finance laws, and here's why
The media is in a frenzy louder than feeding time at the zoo over the guilty pleas by Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign manager, and Michael Cohen, Trump's (former) personal lawyer. Manafort's plea was unrelated to Trump. Cohen pleaded to tax evasion (also unrelated to Trump), but also two counts of working with Trump to violate campaign finance laws.
The war on men, part 554: "Study" claims women are superior doctors
What if we did a study on the survival rates of patients who were treated by brunette doctors and blonde doctors? Wouldn't we find that patients did better with one set of doctors, either blondes or brunettes? In that case, wouldn't it mean that blondes or brunettes make better doctors?
Dems promise to subordinate men if they retake the House
Democrats are promising that women will be the ones wearing the pants in the House if they get a majority in the November elections. That's because not only would Nancy Pelosi become speaker, but 35 women would head major committees and subcommittees. Voters who think women are better at ruling because of their gender are very, very politically aroused.
New York Times erases 52 million white people from existence
The liberal media is in such a desperate hurry to change the demographics in this country that they can't wait for rhetoric to match reality. That's why it's understandable that The New York Times claimed that America is only 60% white. In case you had doubts, they even linked to a US Census website to back up their claim. How much more authoritative can you be than that?
The only problem is that the webpage the Times linked to does not say that the US population is 60% white; it says the US population is 76% white.
How will liberals ruin Patrick Stewart's return to Star Trek?
78 year old Patrick Stewart, who played the wildly popular Captain Picard on the 1980's series Star Trek: The Next Generation, is returning to the role in a new Star Trek series.
In Venezuela, drones make the government run more effectively
Drones have many uses. They can be used to monitor pipelines. Or crops. Or scan the countryside to track wild elk, or schools of fish in the sea.
Pocahontas and Krazy Kamala shamelessly pander for Nutroots support
The "Netroots", which are derisively--and very accurately--called the "Nutroots" by some, are hard-left activists who provides the ready foot soldiers when the Left goes to electoral war. So would-be 2020 Democratic Presidential candidates appeared before them, each trying to appear more insanely left wing than the other, in an attempt to curry favor with the certifiably politically insane.
Experts predict that men, women, & heterosexuals will sweep the midterm elections
The New York Times loves to write about identity groups, but only certain ones. So if you're heterosexual, a man who is certain he's a man, or, increasingly, a woman whose certain she's a woman, you're not going to find a lot of articles about your identity group in the Times, unless, of course, your identity group has been "oppressing" other identity groups.
Let's all thank Sarah Jeong for showing us what liberals think of white people
Anti-white racism is endemic among liberals. For liberals, it is permissible to show disdain for white people in a way that would be totally, totally unacceptable to show for blacks, hispanics, or people of other "colors" of the liberal rainbow.
The liberal media is the enemy of the rule of law and civil society
The liberal media is unused to anyone fighting back. It feels it should feel free to attack, defend, define, and distort as it sees fit, because of the First Amendment, but feels that anyone else exercising their First Amendment rights is "encouraging violence against the media". But what the media ignores is its own role in fomenting law-breaking and hatred.
Lib media worries about crime wave in Mexico "caused" by America
We all know about cross-border crime on the Mexico border. But what we don't know, according to the liberal media, is that the crime is all one-way: Mexico does not export crime to America, but America causes crime in Mexico. A lot of it! Who knew?
Brainwashed children being used to sue government over global warming
The Supreme Court allowed a lawsuit against the government to proceed alleging that the government has caused "global warming" which has harmed the teenage litigants. I think these kids are the environmental equivalent of suicide bombers, set to detonate within our legal system in the hopes of destroying industry and commerce.
New Hampshire working hard to make state less white
New Hampshire has a problem. A big one. The state is 94% white. Business leaders claim that they have trouble filling jobs, so they are trying to attract people to the state--blacks, hispanics, and other minorities. Just not white people.
NYT writes obits of long dead women & minorities, but no Holocaust victims
It is a rule that organizations can declare themselves virtuous by admitting that they were less than virtuous in the past (but note: this only works for liberal organizations). It's based on the tried and true self-criticism theory of Maoist China that (theoretically) allows people to reclaim their virtuousness by confessing past incorrect thoughts or modes of behavior. That's why The New York Times is making a big splash by saying that not only did it discriminate against women and minorities in the past in life, but even after they died, by not giving their deaths the publicity they deserved. Therefore, the Times had begun to write a series of obituaries for "notable" women and minorities who died a long time ago.
Kirsten Gillibrand tacks hard left for 2020 to compensate for extreme whiteness
New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has a problem. She wants to be the Democratic nominee for President in 2020.
Is Elizabeth Warren having an affair with New York Magazine?
Is Elizabeth Warren having an extra-marital affair with New York Magazine? I only ask because the NYM just published a 7,200 word opus to the American Native senator from Massachuetts that reads like a deranged love letter, seeking to turn an old, wrinkled leftist with even older, more wrinkled leftist ideas, into the fresh young face for America in 2020.
Libs demand tax cut for tampons
Whoever said that feminists weren't supply siders? Feminists and their fellow travellers are demanding that tampons be tax free.
Young, dumb teenage girls form doomsday cult to fight "global warming"
The bestselling computer game of 2018 is called Far Cry 5. It features a militant doomsday cult which takes over parts of America and tries to forcibly convince everyone that the world is about to end. That could never happen for real in America, could it?
Lib racists salivate over "brown skinned" UC Merced, ignoring the 37% graduation rate
Liberals love skin color, as long as it is not white. That's why the New York Times had a glowing article about the University of California at Merced, which is majority hispanic.
Judicial nominee pulled because of opposition to "Multiculturalism"
President Trump was forced to pull the nomination of Ryan Bounds for a federal circuit judgeship on the Ninth Circuit because of the judge's writings decades ago against so-called "multiculturalism" while a student at Stanford. GOP senators Tim Scott and Marco Rubio objected to the nominee's writings.
Europe, showing no understanding of antitrust, fines Google five billion dollars
Europe is very good at regulating. Less so at creating. That's why Europe has fined Google five billion dollars for allegedly monopolistic behavior related to Google's Android operating system on phones and tablet devices, while failing to produce continental alternatives of its own.
When did America decide to defend Montenegro and the Baltic States?
Does anyone remember the public debate where America decided to defend Montenegro, by adding that nation to the NATO alliance? I don't.
