Trump should disregard clearly unconstitutional court orders|
The federal courts are making a power grab early in President Trump's term. Trump's executive order, a temporary entry ban from seven dangerous countries, was modest in scope, and had ample precedent: Obama had temporarily stopped immigration from Iraq, and Jimmy Carter from Iran. Historically the President has been given a very wide latitude when it comes to matters of national security, and the decision of who to let into our country is clearly a national security matter.
And yet Judge James Robart made a radical move to reopen our borders to all these people from chaotic, ISIS infested places like Iraq, Yemen, and Syria, potentially putting American lives in danger. President Trump is appealing, but it will take a while for the appeal to wind its way through the Ninth Circuit and probably the Supreme Court. Judge Robart's reason is totally nonsensical, that the people of Washington state and Minnesota will suffer if people from the Sudan and Yemen aren't allowed to enter the country. The exact opposite is true.
That's why President Trump should label this decision an illegitimate, unconstitutional power grab, and disregard it. He can continue to appeal it, but make it clear that he is not going to comply with the restraining order, even temporarily.
Because, win or lose, the matter will not stop here. Trump's executive order is mild. He's going to have to issue a lot more substantive orders in the months to come. If Trump gives in to the politicized judiciary on this, they will smell blood in the water and challenge his later decisions.
Let's say that Trump actually wants to have a permanent ban on refugees from Syria or Iraq, for security reasons. A court could overturn it on the same grounds. Suppose Trump wants to stop all refugees coming to America for a year. A court could actually force Trump to let 100,000 or more refugees in, if Trump lets them. A court could stop Trump from doing enhanced vetting, claiming it discriminated against Muslims from ISIS infested countries. A court also stop Trump's border wall, claiming it would have a negative effect on a snail or a worm.
That's why Trump can't give in on his relatively limited executive order. If he does, he will give the courts a green light to keep America an open borders country.
Liberals will immediately claim that Trump is precipitating a constitutional crisis. But it is the courts which are precipitating such a crisis, by overreaching and claiming power of the executive branch for their own. When Obama was president and he chose not to enforce immigration law, federal courts were fine with it (Arizona vs. US). But when Trump is president and he chooses more stringent regulations, suddenly the courts feel they should have a veto power.
Courts don't have power to actually compel the executive to do anything. They can issue contempt citations but Trump can ignore those as well, if they are based on an illegal ruling. The only check, constitutionally speaking, on the president is impeachment by the congress, and that will never happen. Trump will take a lot of criticism for standing up to the courts, but this is what people elected him to do. If he stands up and makes it clear the courts are engaged in an illegal power grab, and that he is acting to protect the country as he promised when elected, public opinion will turn against the courts and they will be forced to back down.
Defying the courts is a very confrontational strategy, but they have engaged in an unconstitutional power grab and need to be called out for it. At a time when Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the Presidency, and still cannot put their own immigration controls in place, I think it is time to be confrontational. Otherwise elections won't matter and the media, the courts, and the bureaucracy will run the country into the ground regardless of who is elected to office.

Trump says Obamacare here to stay if "Obamacare-lite" voted down
I've become convinced that President Trump is a political hermaphrodite. The top half is Republican--pushing for lower taxes, border security, and cuts to counterproductive regulations. But if the top half of President Trump is Republican, the bottom half is Hillary Clinton, a side of the President which wants to keep amnesty in place for millions of "Dreamers", wants to spend a trillion dollars on "infrastructure" like Obama, and now is fighting tooth and nail to preserve the worst parts of Obamacare.

Sears is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. All department stores have faced increased competition from Amazon.com, but Sears is out of cash and about to fail. Why?
Men in Third World calling phone numbers at random in search of love (sex)
Technology has certainly changed the Third World. In countries like India and Morocco where cellphones are widely available for the first time, men are dialing random phone numbers and, when they hear a woman's voice at the other end, they immediately engage in sexy talk to try and get them interested.
Trump orders raises for overpaid federal bureaucrats
President Trump ordered all federal workers to get an almost 2% raise. Two percent, what's the big deal? Well, it's a big deal because federal salaries and benefits are already grossly inflated.
Trump threatens Republicans who vote against "Obamacare-lite"
President Trump, who promised to totally repeal Obamacare, is threatening Republicans with political retribution if they do not support the House bill which would leave the worst elements of Obamacare intact.

Trump Admin. promises to do nothing about the national debt
One of the most popular things to do in Washington D.C. is to come up with a "plan" to eliminate the deficit in ten years. For some reason politicians always come up with a ten year plan. I think they pick ten years out so it is short enough to take somewhat seriously, but long enough for a politician to serve in Washington and then to leave before the ten years are up. In any event, people forget about the ten year plans relatively quickly so in two or four years a "new" 10 year plan to eliminate deficit can be created, even before the old one has "come to fruition".
Joni Ernst ran against Obamacare, but now loves it more than her motorcycle
Joni Ernst's 2014 campaign for US Senate in Iowa was very much like the marketing campaign that Marvel comics puts into motion for its female superhero movies.
Federal court security intentionally targets Muslims and should be withdrawn
When you try to go into a federal courthouse, chances are you have to go through a metal detector and have your possessions examined by security. What is that all about? It's actually has nothing at all to do with security, and everything to do with deterring Muslims from seeking justice!
Trump's budget is bold, brave, and ultimately pointless
There is quite a lot to like about President Trump's first budget. Let me give a few examples:

What do you do if you're a woman, in the Marines, and you make a sex video, and your fellow marines see it? Claim you're being sexually harassed, of course!

Are women with two last names modern, or mean?
Women with two last names, their maiden name and the name of their husbands (sometimes connected with the dreaded hyphen), used to be almost exclusively strident feminists who felt they were losing their identity by taking their husband's last name while discarding their own. Hillary Clinton always became Hillary "Rodham" Clinton after she won an election; and Debbie "Wasserman" Schultz always used both names even as people parodied her as Debbie "Was a Man" Schultz. But women other than hardcore feminists seem to be using two names as well.
Liberals say King Kong=black people

The show interviewed Robin Means Coleman, a professor of Afroamerican studies at the University of Michigan who specializes in studying King Kong.

President Trump owes Mark Levin a debt of gratitude
Just a week ago, President Trump was embattled. Democrats were lining up to go before cameras to ask "Did [Trump associate x] meet with the Russians? When? What did they say? We need a full investigation!"
Trump was clearly on the defensive.

Mark Levin takes credit for stopping Trump "Amnesty Announcement"
At the opening of his show yesterday, conservative talk show host Mark Levin took credit for preventing President Trump from offering amnesty for "Dreamer" illegal aliens. Levin said that right before Trump's address to Congress, Trump met with media executives and told them he was willing to give amnesty for children of illegal aliens, the so-called "Dreamers". Levin said that Trump was rewriting his speech until right before he gave it, and Levin believed Trump planned to offer this amnesty in that speech.
The book everyone wants Michelle Obama to write
I just heard the news that Barack and Michelle Obama got a $60 million dollar deal to each write a book. I imagine Barack's book will be worth more, but publishers probably paid millions for Michelle's book too.
The vast divide between Trump's private and public comments on immigration
I loved the moment during President Trump's State of the Union address when he announced that the Department of Homeland Security was setting up an office to publicize victims of illegal alien crime. The gasps and moans from the Democrats were very audible. I also loved how Trump talked about building a wall and enforcing the law.
